An Incomprehensible Living Sacrifice Par ‘Excellence

For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. GOD sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of GOD; and this is the condemnation, that LIGHT is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Everyone that doeth evil hates the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved, but he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in GOD.  John 3:16-21 (KJV)

  • According to the above Scriptural passage, who is our Savior? Hint:  “loved”
  • How did our Savior save sinners?  Hint: “that He gave”
  • What is required of sinners to be saved from perishing?
  • What was the first message of the One who was sent?  Read and Study Matthew chapter 4

The Law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect, for then would they not have ceased to be offered? The worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.  In those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.  It is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

  • What were some previous sacrifices for sin?
  • According to the above Scripture passage, what was the name of the Day for forgiveness of sin? Leviticus 23:27-28

Read and study Leviticus chapter 23

Wherefore when He came into the world, He said, sacrifice and offering thou would not, but a body hast thou prepared me   In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O GOD.

Who is “I” in the above Scripture?

Where was “it is written of me” written?

Above when he said, sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou would not, neither has pleasure therein, which are offered by the law. Then said He, Lo, I come to do thy will, O GOD. He takes away the first that He may establish the second.

Note: Then said He, Lo, I come to do thy will, O GOD” is recorded twice within Hebrews chapter 10, which is a very clear indication to be very attentive, and the message is established.

Question:  What was taken away?

Animal sacrifices were taken away and replaced by the Son, of the One True and Living GOD.

We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Every priest stood daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins, but this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the Right Hand of GOD (see Hebrews chapter 1); Henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool.  By one offering, He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us, for after that He had said before, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, said the LORD, I will put my Laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them.

(see Jeremiah 31:33-34 also Ezekiel 18:31 & Ezekiel 36:26) Hebrews 10:1-16 (KJV)

Sacrifice and offering thou did not desire; mine ears hast thou opened, burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come, in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my GOD; yea, thy law is within my heart.  Psalms 40:6-8 (KJV)

Note:  Yahshua is rooted within the Hebrew Scriptures and revealed within the Books and Epistles from Matthew thru Revelation.

It was and is Yahshua’s delight to do His HOLY Father’s will.

(Yahshua is the Word of YHVH made flesh; see John chapter 1

Is anything too hard for the LORD?  Genesis 18:14

Be hearers and doers of His Holy Word.

Men should always PRAY and not faint. Luke 18:1 (KJV)
