Hebrew Scriptures                                                  New Testament Fulfillment

Psalm 41:9                                                                 Matthew 26:14-16,

Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. Psalm 41:9 (KJV)

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, and said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver Him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. And from that time, he sought opportunity to betray Him. Matthew 26:14-16 (KJV)

And while He yet spoke, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

Now he that betrayed Him gave them a sign, saying, whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; hold Him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, hail, Master; and kissed Him. Jesus said unto him, friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took Him. Matthew 26:47-50 (KJV)

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.  John 3:11-21 (KJV)

The Conclusion: Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
YHVH has spoken in these last days by whom? Hebrews ch. 1
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. John 9:5 (KJV)
