While we Wait

Be Prepared

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the Power of His Might.  Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Question

Why were the Ephesians urged by Apostle Paul to put on the whole armor of YHVH?

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Question:

What type of armor?

  • Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth
  • the Breastplate of Righteousness
  • Feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace
  • The Shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
  • Take the Helmet of Salvation
  • The Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.  Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV

All of the above essentials must be accompanied by a generous portion of continuous prayer.

Yahshua stated that men should always pray and not faint (Luke 18:1).  Prayer effectiveness is dependent upon abiding in Yahshua; and His Word abiding within us (John 15:7).  Our prayer should always include interceding for all our fellow brothers and sisters within the Kingdom of God; that others will believe.  Remember in John 17, Yahshua prayed for Himself, His disciples and for all those who would believe in Him, through the testimony of His disciples, which includes us in this 21st century populace.  Note:  Yahshua could have utilized His prayer time regarding His ordeal only (illegal trials, crucifixion).

According to Hebrews 7:25, Yahshua continues to intercede for those who come to the Father through Him.   He is worthy to be praised!!!

Read AND Study:

Hebrews chapter 7

Note: A comprehensive study regarding “the Armor of God” can be found within the “Faith Room” part I & II.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.  John 3:11-21 (KJV)

The Conclusion: Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
YHVH has spoken in these last days by whom? Hebrews ch. 1
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. John 9:5 (KJV)
