Question:

How can we (21st century populace) have Faith Empowered by the Holy Spirit?

In order for us to become effective within our spiritual vocations, we must diligently hold on to and abide in Yahshua (John chapter 15) and pray faith-filled prayers. Within the Holy Scripture it is written:  Ask and it shall be given, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened (Matthew 7:7) It is written, If ye abide in me [ Yahshua ha Mashiach], and my Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

The key to faith-filled prayers is to abide in the One True and Living GOD our Savior, and believe in the one whom He sent to bless us, who is none other than Yahshua.  If we abide in Him, and His words abide in us, our prayers shall be answered.  Yahshua spoke the Words of the One True and Living GOD, and never took any glory for himself.  Yahshua stated the Words that I speak or not my Words, but the Father who dwells in me (John 14:10).

Question:  Why will our prayers be answered?

Because Yahshua’s Words abides within us, and because we have not asked amiss.

What is to “ask amiss”?

(James 4:1-3) KJV

Consider the following scriptural passage:

….From whence come wars and fightings among you; come they not hence, even of your own lusts that war in your members? Ye lust and have not. Ye kill and desire to have and cannot obtain. Ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye might consume it upon your own lusts.

James Chapter 4

Repent for the remission of sin and pray without ceasing and read Romans 12:1-2 several times per week.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.  John 3:11-21 (KJV)
