Have Faith in GOD

Faith:

Faith Pleases God Hebrews 11:6

Faith in the Midst of Commotion

Faith

It came to pass, that as He was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging; and hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace, but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. Jesus said unto him, receive thy sight; thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying GOD: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto GOD. Luke 18:35-43 (KJV)

Questions:

  •  What is going on regarding the multitude of people, why are they trying to block a miraculous bles
  •  Why is the multitude of people passing through?
  •  Who is passing through the neighborhood?
  •  Why and for what purpose is a certain person continuously shouting & who is he?
  •  How does the person sitting by the way side address the Man from Nazareth?
  • What does Jesus ask the man sitting by the way side, and how does he respond to the question?
  • Does the man sitting by the way side receive an answer and how soon?
  • What causes the miraculous blessing?

Reminder:  Notice that Yahshua stated:  “thy faith hath made thee whole”.  Within the Holy Scriptures, it is stated, “without faith it is impossible to please GOD”.  Why is faith so important?  Faith is complete trust, it is unshakeable certainty that what has been requested or hoped for will be provided.  When odds are stacked against us, we as believers know beyond a shadow of a doubt that our Father, which is in Heaven will provide.

When we humble ourselves and go to His Throne of Grace with thanksgiving, and present our requests to Him, by faith, we can expect our prayers to be answered.  Yes, there are pre-requisites:  Humble ourselves under His Mighty Hand, repent for all unrighteousness offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and then let our requests be made known unto Him, and we do all this in the Name of His Holy Son, Yahushua ha Mashiach/Jesus Christ.

Pre-Requisites:

  • Humility
  • Repentance
  • Love the LORD GOD of Heaven and earth with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might, and your neighbor (more than the person next door) as yourself.
  • Have faith in GOD
  • Do not lean to your understanding, but acknowledge the LORD our GOD
  • Always pray (unselfishly)
  • Prayerfully, intercede for others
  • Keep watch over your heart see Galatians chapter 5)
  • Diligently study and read the Holy Bible

Be faithful to YHVH our GOD, who is the Most High GOD, the Creator of all there is, was and ever will be.  Believe in His Son, whom He sent to us, namely Yahshua ha Mashiach/Jesus Christ, His anointed and appointed Salvation for the world.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.  John 3:11-21 (KJV)
