Have Faith in GOD

Faith:

Hebrews 11:1

Faith Pleases God Hebrews 11:6

YHVH’S WORD

Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet, and a Light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.  I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy Word. Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments. My soul is continually in my hand, yet do I not forget thy Law. The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I erred not from thy precepts. Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart. I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end. Psalms 119:105-112 (KJV)

Help LORD, for the godly man ceases, for the faithful fail from among the children of men. They speak vanity every one with his neighbor, with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.  The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips and the tongue that speaks proud things who have said, with our tongue, will we prevail, our lips are our own; whose lord is over us?

The oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffs at him. The Words of the LORD are pure Words; as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.  Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever. The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.  Psalms 12:1-8 (KJV)

Part 2

Question

What shall believers adorn for spiritual defense; and with what armor shall we adorn ourselves?

Put on the whole armor of GOD, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of GOD, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand:

Note:  The whole armore of God, is mentioned twice.

  1. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth, and having on the Breastplate of Righteousness.

        John 17:17; Jeremiah 23:6; Jeremiah 33:16; I Thessalonians 5:8

  1. Your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace.

                  Isaiah 52:7; Romans 10:15

  1. Above all, taking the Shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

        Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38

  1. Take the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of GOD.

         Isaiah 55: 6-11; Jeremiah 23:29; Hebrews 4:12

  1. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

       Matthew 26:41; Luke 18:1-8; I Thessalonians 5:17

                Ephesians 6:11-18 (KJV)

Question:

What does Apostle Paul mean by putting on the Armor of Light?

Also, put on the Armor of Light is equivalent to “walk honestly, as in the day”

Cast off the works of darkness:

  • rioting
  • drunkenness
  • chambering
  • wantonness
  • strife
  • envy

Awake out of Sleep!

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep, for now, is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand, let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the Armor of Light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.  Put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Romans 13:11-14 (KJV)

2nd Corinthians chapter 6

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.  John 3:11-21 (KJV)
