FAITH May 2020 Faith It came to pass, that as He was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging; and hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. They told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passed by; And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. They which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace, but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him; and when he was come near, He asked him, saying, what wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, LORD, that I may receive my sight. Jesus said unto him, receive thy sight; thy faith hath saved thee; And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God; and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God! Notice what Yahshua stated: “thy faith hath made thee whole”. Within the Holy Scriptures, it is stated, “without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6). Why is faith so important? Faith is steadfast and unshakeable trust, that what has been asked or hoped for shall be provided. When odds are stacked against us, we as believers know beyond a shadow of a doubt that our Father, which is in Heaven shall provide. When we humble ourselves, and go to His Throne of Grace with thanksgiving, and present our requests to Him, by faith, we can expect our prayers to be answered. Yes, there are pre-requisites: Humble ourselves and pray( II Chronicles 7:14) , repent for all unrighteousness (Romans 12:1-2; offer sacrifices of thanksgiving (Psalm 107:22, and then let requests be made known unto Him (Philippians 4:6), and we do all this in the Name of His Holy Son, Yahshua ha Mashiach/Jesus Christ.
