Pray without  Ceasing. II Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
FAITH May 2020

It came to pass, that as He was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging; and hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. They told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passed by; And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. They which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace, but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him; and when he was come near, He asked him, saying, what wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, LORD, that I may receive my sight. Jesus said unto him, receive thy sight; thy faith hath saved thee; And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God; and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God!

Luke 18:35-43 (KJV)

  • What is going on regarding the multitude of people, why are they trying to block a miraculous blessing?
  • Who is passing through the neighborhood?
  • Why and for what purpose is a certain person continuously shouting & who is he?
  • How does the person sitting by the way side address the Man from Nazareth?
  • What does the Man from Nazareth ask the man sitting by the way side and how does he respond to the question?
  • Does the man sitting by the way side receive an answer and how soon?
  • What causes the miraculous blessing?

Notice what Yahshua stated: “thy faith hath made thee whole”.  Within the Holy Scriptures, it is stated, “without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6).

Why is faith so important

Faith is steadfast and unshakeable trust, that what has been asked or hoped for shall be provided.  When odds are stacked against us, we as believers know beyond a shadow of a doubt that our Father, which is in Heaven shall provide.

When we humble ourselves, and go to His Throne of Grace with thanksgiving, and present our requests to Him, by faith, we can expect our prayers to be answered.  Yes, there are pre-requisites:  Humble ourselves and pray( II Chronicles 7:14) , repent for all unrighteousness (Romans 12:1-2; offer sacrifices of thanksgiving (Psalm 107:22, and then let requests be made known unto Him (Philippians 4:6), and we do all this in the Name of His Holy Son, Yahshua ha Mashiach/Jesus Christ.

  • Humility
  • Repentance:  Isaiah 1:16-17; Matthew 4:17

  • Have faith in GOD:  Mark 11:22  Read the whole chapter
  • Do not lean to your understanding, but acknowledge YHVH our GOD:  Proverbs 3:5-6
  • Always pray and intercede for others:  I Timothy 2:1; James 5:16; Ephesians 6:18

  • Keep watch over your soul (Read Galatians chapter 5)

Diligently study and read the Holy Bible

Be faithful to the LORD our God, who is the Most High God, the Creator (Genesis chapters 1-2).  Believe in His Son, whom He sent to us, namely Yahshua ha Mashiach/Jesus Christ, His Anointed and Appointed Redeemer;  who sacrificed His Righteous and Atoning Blood for us; who is also, the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls (I Peter 2:25).

Men should always PRAY and not faint. Luke 18:1 (KJV)
