The Word of יהוה

 

In the beginning GOD created the heaven and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. The Spirit of GOD moved upon the face of the waters.  GOD said, let there be light: and there was light. GOD saw the light that it was good, and GOD divided the light from the darkness. GOD called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night; and the evening and the morning were the first day.

First Day Creations

• Light
• Division of Light from Darkness
• Light called Day
• Darkness called Night

  GOD said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. GOD made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament, and it was so. GOD called the firmament heaven; the evening and the morning were the second day.

Second Day Creations

• Firmament
• Dividing of the waters under and above the firmament
• Firmament called heaven

GOD said, let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.  GOD called the dry land earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He seas: and GOD saw that it was good. GOD said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. The earth brought forth grass and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind, and GOD saw that it was good; the evening and the morning were the third day.

Third Day Creations

• Waters under the heaven gathered unto one place
• Dry land appeared
• Land called earth
• Gathering of the waters called seas
• Earth brought forth grass, herb yielding seed, fruit tree yielding fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself upon the earth
   

GOD said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years, let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven. to give light upon the earth, and it was so. GOD made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; He made the stars also. GOD set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and GOD saw that it was good.  The evening and the morning were the fourth day.     

Fourth  Day Creations - Lights in the Firmament

• Two Great lights
• Greater Light to rule the Day
• Lesser light to rule the night
• Stars to give light upon the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness.

GOD said, let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.  GOD created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and GOD saw that it was good. GOD blessed them, saying, be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. The evening and the morning were the fifth day.  

Fifth Day Creations 

• The waters brought forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life:  Great whales, every living creature which the waters brought forth abundantly
• Fowl to fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven:  Every winged fowl after his kind
• God blessed them, saying be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the fowl multiply in the earth

 

GOD said, let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind, and it was so.  GOD made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps upon the earth after his kind, and GOD saw that it was good. GOD said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. GOD created man in His own image, in the image of GOD created He him; male and female created He them.

GOD blessed them, and GOD said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.  GOD said, behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed, to you it shall be for meat. To every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat, and it was so.  GOD saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. Sixth Day Creations

• The earth brought forth the living creature after his kind, creeping, and beast of the earth
• Man made in the image and likeness of God, male and female created He them
• Mankind to have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, over the cattle, and over all the the earth, and over the creeping thing that creeps upon the earth
• Mankind  were blessed and told to be fruitful, and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves over the earth

 

What happened on the Seventh Day?

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. On the seventh day GOD ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work, which He had made. GOD blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it, because that in it, He had rested from all His work which GOD created and made. Genesis 2:1-3 (KJV)

Seventh Day Blessed and Sanctified!!  God rested from ALL His Work!!
 

 

 

 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD. The same was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. The light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from GOD, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light that all men through Him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the True Light, which lights every man that comes into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.  He came unto His own, and His own received Him not, but as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on His Name, which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of GOD.
 

The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of Grace and Truth. John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, this was He of whom I spoke, He that comes after me, is preferred before me, for He was before me, and of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. The Law was given by Moses, but Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ.
 

 No man hath seen GOD at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him. This is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, who art thou? He confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. They asked him, What then, art thou Elias? He said, I am not. Art thou that prophet? He answered, No.
 

Then said they unto him, who art thou, that we may give an answer to them that sent us; what say thou of thyself? He said [John], I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. They which were sent were of the Pharisees. They asked him, and said unto him, why baptize thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? John answered them, saying, I baptize with water, but there stands one among you, whom ye know not; He it is, who coming after me, is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
 

These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.
The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and said, behold the Lamb of GOD, which taketh away the sin of the world.  This is He of whom I said, after me cometh a man which is preferred before me, for He was before me.
 

I knew Him not, but that He should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from Heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Him. I knew him not, but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the same is He which baptize with the Holy Spirit. I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of GOD.

Again, the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, behold the Lamb of GOD! John 1:1-36 (KJV)
