Yahshua's Charge to His Disciples/Talmidim Yahshua Speaks to His Disciples Regarding their Charge All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:18-20) KJV
Questions
1. How were Yahshua’s disciples to teach all nations without knowing their dialect/tongue 2. How were they going to accomplish this great teaching task?
Being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, said He, ye have heard of me. John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence.
When they [disciples] therefore were come together, they asked of Him, saying, LORD, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
He said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His Power, but ye shall receive Power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:4-8) KJV
Wait until you are endowed with Power from on High Question What Power on High? Wait on the Power of the Holy Spirit from Yahweh/LORD through whom the disciples would be able to mightily accomplish the task given to them by Yahshua. The disciples were not to worry or concern themselves with the restoration of Israel, but to teach what Yahshua had taught them and be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Disciples’ Obedience 1) Disciples prayed with one accord (they were in agreement, which is a vital element regarding prayer) 2) Steadfast continuous prayer 3) Determined and diligent Prayer
Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a Sabbath day's journey (about a mile or two). When they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brethren (Acts 1:12-14) KJV
As a result of OBEDIENCE and being on ONE ACCORD with continuous prayer, the disciples were baptized with the Holy Spirit with Fire and Power!!
Holy Spirit’s Power Disciples were able to speak new languages as the Spirit gave them utterance When the day of *Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place; And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting; And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them; And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. There were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. When this was noised abroad, the multitude came together and were confounded because that every man heard them speak in his language! They were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, behold, are not all these which speak Galileans; and how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of GOD!! (Acts 2:1-11) KJV
Note: There are over fifteen different dialects noted in Acts 2:1-11! Each person from the above cities and countries could clearly understand what Yahshua’s disciples were saying! They clearly heard unlearned (void of formal earthly education) men from Galilee speaking in languages spoken of in Acts chapter two, regarding the wonderful plan of YHVH through His Son Yahshua ha Mashiach!
*Pentecost Pentecost [feast of weeks] is one of YHVH’s Feasts recorded within Leviticus chapter 23. Pentecost is the Greek, whereas Shavuot is the Hebrew name for the Feast. The exact timing for Shavuot begins in Leviticus 23:15 and is 50 days after the Feast of First Fruits. The Feast of Pentecost first convened at Mt Sinai, when the Law of YHVH was given; 3000 years later the Feast of Pentecost is celebrated with the pouring out of YHVH’s Holy Spirit as He had promised by His prophets. Yahshua told His disciples to remain in Jerusalem until the Day of Shavuot had fully come (they had ten more days to wait). Yahshua kept the Law of YHVH, including His Feast Days. Yahshua was the Passover Lamb, Yahshua was without sin (Feast of Unleavened Bread), Yahshua was the First Fruits of them that slept, rose from the dead, and sent the Promise of the Holy Spirit spoken of by Joel, YHVH’s prophet, on the Feast of Shavuot!! Yahshua fulfilled ALL of the Spring Feast, and will definitely fulfill the Fall Feast. YHVH is a GOD of order, His 7 Feasts are signs (Divine Appointments) according to Genesis 1:14, the word season is “Moed” meaning “feast” Moedim meaning feasts. Special Notation in Leviticus chapter 23:4 - These are the Feasts of the LORD, even Holy Convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. Read Leviticus chapter 23
Prayer for Boldness to Speak (Read Acts Chapter 4)
When Yahshua’s apostles were challenged by the chief priests and leaders, they prayed for boldness to speak the Word of GOD. When Peter and John were released (from the custody of the chief priests and leaders), they went to the other apostles and told them everything the chief priests and leaders had said.
When the apostles heard this, they were united and loudly prayed to YHVH
Master, you made the sky, the land, the sea, and everything in them. You said through the Holy Spirit, who spoke through your servant David (our ancestor), Why do the nations act arrogantly? Why do their people devise useless plots? Kings take their stand. Rulers make plans together against the LORD and against His Messiah. In this city Herod and Pontius Pilate made plans together with non-Jewish people and the people of Israel. They made their plans against your Holy Servant Jesus, whom you Anointed.
Through your Will and Power, they did everything that you had already decided should be done. LORD, pay attention to their threats now, and allow us to speak your Word boldly. Show your Power by healing, performing miracles, and doing amazing things through the Power and the Name of your Holy Servant Jesus. When the apostles had finished praying, their meeting place shook. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the Word of GOD boldly!! (Acts 4:23-31) GW
Note: Another Powerful Appearance of the Holy Spirit is witnessed in Acts chapter 4. The Holy Spirit’s outpouring is given to Yahshua’s apostles via His request from His Father, and received by His apostles via asking and having an open heart to receive. In this particular chapter, the Holy Spirit has been requested for boldness to speak the Word of YHVH. In acts chapter 2, the Holy Spirit came to empower Yahshua’s apostles to do the work He commanded them (see latter verses of Matthew 28). The apostles needed immediate power to speak in many languages, and to deliver YHVH’S Word without faltering.
Question: Was the Apostles’ prayer in agreement with what Yahshua taught? YES PRAYER REMINDERS
If ye abide in me, and my Words abide in you, you shall ask whatever you will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

Yahshua’s Parable Regarding an Importunate Prayer He said unto them, which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, friend, lend me three loaves; a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him. He from within shall answer and say, trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. I say unto you, though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he need. (Luke 11:5-8) KJV
Note: The man in the above scriptural passage had a need beyond himself, he was unable to fulfill the need, he asked his friend for help, and was very persistent regarding his request.
My friend is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.
Note: The statement “I have nothing”
Notice for Prayer Warriors Let us open our hearts to discern the need of YHVH’s people and in Yahshua’s Name began to pray. Let us be willing to sacrifice our heavy schedule of “things to do” and began to immediately intercede for others.
Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Name of the LORD; and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the LORD shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:13-16 (KJV)
Be willing & obedient If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land, if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword, for the Mouth of the LORD hath spoken it (Isaiah chapter 1)
Foundational Tenets for our Faith
Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of GOD; and every one that love Him that begat loves Him also that is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of GOD, when we love GOD, and keep His Commandments. This is the love of GOD that we keep His Commandments, and His Commandments are not grievous.
Whatsoever is born of GOD overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of GOD. (1 John 5:1-5) KJV
