Learn from KING Yahshua Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) NLT
Question: How do we learn about Jesus/Yahshua, we learn by reading and studying the Holy Word of GOD. Begin by reading the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Acts.
Learn from Yahshua “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. But anyone who hears my teaching and ignores it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” (Matthew 7:24-27) NLT
Questions: How did the crowd respond to Jesus’ teaching? (7:28) How should we treat other people, what did Yahshua say about that? “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. Question: How can we enter the Kingdom of GOD of Deuteronomy chapter 10? “You can enter His Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way, but the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it (Matthew 7:12-14) NLT The world’s idea is that the Kingdom of GOD can be found in many ways. This is contrary to what Yahshua taught. There is only one way, and that way is through Him. Yahshua ha Mashiach is the One whom His Father sent for the redemption of mankind; believing in Him, and keeping His teachings is the only way. Yahshua answered Thomas [disciple]: I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one goes to the Father except through me. If you have known me, you will also know my Father (John 14:6-7) GW Read John chapters 1, 3 and 14; afterwards, read the whole Book of John, located within the New Testament portion of the Holy Scriptures. |
