What to do while we await King Yahshua's Arrival While we Wait Be Prepared Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Question: Why were the Ephesians urged by Apostle Paul to put on the whole armor of YHVH? For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Question: What type of armor?
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV All of the above elements must be accompanied by a generous portion of continuous prayer. Yahshua stated that men should always pray and not faint (Luke 18:1). Prayer effectiveness is dependent upon abiding in Yahshua, and His Word abiding within us (John 15:7). Our prayer should always include interceding for all our fellow brothers and sisters within the Kingdom of God; and that others will believe. Remember in John 17, Yahshua prayed for Himself, His disciples and for all those who would believe in Him, through the testimony of His disciples, which includes us in this 21st century populace. Note: Yahshua could have utilized His prayer time regarding His ordeal only. According to Hebrews 7:25, Yahshua continues to intercede for those who come to the Father through Him. He is worthy to be praised!!! Read: Hebrews chapter 7 A comprehensive study regarding “the Armor of God” can be found within the “Faith Room” part I & II. |
