Forever, O LORD,

Blessed is the man that walk not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful. His delight is in the Law of the LORD; and in His Law does he meditate day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so; but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. The LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psalm 1:1-6 (KJV)
 

Question:  How does a person become like a tree planted by rivers of water?

Does not consider the counsel of ungodly people, refuses to take the pathway of the sinful, nor join in the company of mockers.  Also, he delights in the Law of YHVH and meditates in same day and night.

Question:  If a person retains the above attributes, what will happen?

He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bring forth his fruit in his season, his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

Bring forth seasonal fruit

    

Wither-free leaves (beautiful, lovely, supple)

Why the WORD of YHVH?

The WORD of GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12) KJV

 

Praise YHVH!!!

 

I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee! I will sing praise to thy Name, O thou Most High. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy Presence, for thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou sit in the throne judging right. Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end. Thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them, but the LORD shall endure forever. He hath prepared His throne for judgment.

 

He shall judge the world in righteousness.

He shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

 

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble; and they that know thy Name will put their trust in thee, for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. (Psalms 9:1-10) KJV
